Howdy and Welcome to Wednesday

I’m in a class with Sarah Cordiner, and I’m learning to live stream. I’m looking for a good time of the day to send out live stream videos when you would be available to see them. If you have any times that work or don’t work, please let me know. You can contact me through My Facebook, LinkedIn or write me directly at mikeb@reveille.rocks.

I am sending out daily tips on finding employment and how to change careers. I can come up with ideas to speak about all day long, and (for those of you who know me) it can be at length. Instead, I would like to give you tips for what you’re genuinely in need.

Please let me know your questions, and I will get them into the daily tips. And also, let me know what broadcast times would work best for you.

What Are Your Plans

I mean for the next year. I think I just heard work, house cleaning, taking care of the kids, etc. I am asking what you are going to do for yourself.

Are you going to take a course in something? Write a book or visit a strange new place? Are you going to take up painting or some other activity?

The new year is very close at hand. You may want to start looking at your options and thoughts now. Who wants to try making possible life-changing decisions the day after a big late nite party.

Whatever you decide, think about it and make it something you can have fun with.

It’s Always Something

No matter how we live our lives and what we do to make them perfect, they never will be. You can spend years fighting this. You could spend decades denying it. And in the end, it will not be perfect.

We are not perfect people. We do not live in ideal circumstances. Our world is not perfect, nor is it totally imperfect. Our world is what it is.

And as people, we need to understand this. We do not give way to bedlam, and we do not demand the impossible.  We find a way that we can live with what we can accept.

I know I have my flaws. And I know they will still be there long after you have read this and gone on to dinner. I know how to find a middle ground towards peace and acceptance, and I hope you do too.

What will you do this week to find your peace and acceptance?

Do You Look

I saw the most beautiful sunrise today. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a fiery red-orange as I did this morning along the curve of the horizon. And slowly, very slowly, the great mass above it slowly changed colors until that section of the sky was ablaze.

I encourage people to take time and watch the sunrise. I don’t think anyone could see a spectacle such as this and not find inspiration to go forth and do something great.

It is the little things in life that really make it worth living. The free things.  The sunrise or sunset.  It could be a smile from a friend, a kind word, or a feeling of something small, like a moment to watch the kids playing.

All it takes is a moment or two.  All it takes is seeing what is around us daily.

What do you think you might see?

Take A Class

To all my friends out there, thank you for being with me. And also bearing with me. I am proud to announce that I’m getting closer to publishing my new course, and I have two new books in the works.

Taking an end-of-the-year course with Sarah Cordiner has helped me rejuvenate, learn new ideas, and prepare for new adventures in 2022. It is essential to do this from time to time. Going through a rejuvenation class allows us to be ready for the unique items that we will learn or have to tackle in the new year.

I am on day eight of this 10-day course, and I feel great. I recommend that everyone find a great teacher like Sarah and take a class. Learning something new is one of the best things you can do for yourself.

Have a great day, and we’ll hopefully be back tomorrow.

Free book

Greetings to all who are reading this. I have to apologize for not writing you for the last few days.  I have been building a new website to send you this unique offer. Unfortunately, I have run across a few hurdles.

Some people may say I missed Black Friday and Cyber Monday, yet those are only two days. You are my loyal readers, the ones who stick by me and read what I write throughout the year; I owe you more than two days!

I have an offer for a free booklet that you may have by emailing me and telling me that you want it. Until the new site is complete, please use My email, mikeb@reveille.rocks.

I will send you a booklet with ideas and checklists for finding the work you want. I will also forward you a coupon for my new Creative Critical Thinking In Employment course for only $47, which is a $150 savings.     This course will be running by Christmas.

This offer is good from now to January.  I told you I owed you more than just two days to make a decision. Now you have the time to consider and save over $150.

Thanks,

Mike

Good Things Are Coming

The days are growing shorter, and time has to be adjusted to enjoy the sun. We have no snow yet in our drought country and can hardly wait for that covering of white. Yet, we find ways to have a little fun and be a little bit productive.

Good things are coming our way, yet nothing happens without some hard work. Even Christmas requires a Black Friday to precede it, and if that wasn’t enough, there’s a Cyber Monday thrown in there also.

It seems the elves at Reveille.Rocks are working a little overtime. There will definitely be a book, and hopefully, a course ready for Santa’s helpers to place under the tree for somebody looking for a new job.

I don’t want to spoil the fun. I’m just here to say, please keep your eyes open because good things always abound in a season of miracles.

Who do you know that could use a little joy and help this season?

Changes

It is great to be out there, pushing yourself forward, doing everything within your power to conquer your world. At the same time, you need to remember you have others around you with whom you have activities. Changing your schedule may not help their needs.

Too often, any schedule, no matter how well planned, will fall to the side; it is merely a fact of life. It is essential to realize and ensure no activities or people end up forgotten because of this disruption.

Is it easy? No. Is maintaining the balance doable? With a bit of attention, yes.  Whatever system you use to support your changes and additions, make sure it works for you.

How do you keep up with what is next on your schedule and what is looming down the road?

Take Our Next Step

As we walk through life, our goal should be to pick up what we need and desire to help us grow. The trick is not to pick up everything. We must choose between our desires, our wishes, and our destinies.

Like a holiday feast where we want to try everything and often eat more than we can handle, our desires in life often outreach our abilities.  We need to control our passion for projects and things.  We need to pick and choose through what we find to have the time and energy to be our best at what we strive to accomplish.

To be our best, we need to be ready to compete.

As you work and plan, what will be the outstanding achievement you will offer the world?

Excitement Fills The Air

Fall is upon us. Days grow shorter, cooler, and grander as the leaves change and smells of comfort fill the air.  It is the time of high school football and bands marching for halftime shows.

Everyone is busy cleaning their yards and prepping for the first snowfalls of the season. As parents prep holiday decorations, the children try to decide what they want to be for Halloween. Teenagers look forward to the homecoming dance. Fall is the time everything has excitement and a chance to relax for a weekend.

The hot summer is gone, and the biting blizzards of winter are not here yet.  All the senses get touched with reminders of happy and comfortable times.

Which memory will you enjoy?
