The heat is gripping the nation, and I just want to start today by reminding everyone to take care of yourselves, your neighbors, and stay hydrated.

As you know, in life we have choices. We can either take care of things as they come along or, we can let some things pile up to the point where so many things to do at once takes much longer to get done. There is positive and negative on both sides.

If we take care of things at the moment, there are benefits. It can be fixed at the moment. We don’t have to be concerned about it for some future date. We can move forward with one less thing to worry about.

If we let things pile up, then maybe, we can get multiple, or similar items are done at the same time. It would make it more efficient, even though it might take much longer to accomplish. Letting things pile up, such as bills, can sometimes affect credit scores. And sometimes we lose track of essential items that we need or possibly go out and purchase again because we could not find the first one.

Now there are other items that you also have to consider. If you have a tendency to let things wait and build up, what kind of stress does that put upon you? If you save cleaning up living areas or doing yard work, does that create a less than aesthetic view of your world? If bills pile up, does it produce the stress of the financial burden to pay them and the late charges?

We all have our various ways of doing things, and it’s not a matter of what is right or wrong. What we need to observe and consider are the ways we choose what is indeed best for us and our environment.

Thank you for being with us, we hope you’ll join us again tomorrow.
