Creating a vision board

Vision Board

Creating a vision board is a great help. It helps you clarify your goals, visualize your dreams, and manifest your desires. Gather materials such as a frame, posters, magazines, scissors, glue, and markers to build one. Set aside some quiet time to reflect on your aspirations in different areas of your life, such as career, relationships, health, and personal growth.

Next, flip through magazines and cut out images, words, and phrases that resonate with your goals and aspirations. Arrange these clippings on your board in a way that feels inspiring and meaningful to you. You can also add personal photos, quotes, and affirmations that motivate and uplift you.

Display your vision board in a prominent place where you’ll see it daily, such as your bedroom or office. Take a few moments each day to visualize yourself living your dreams and goals as if they have already come true. By consistently focusing on your vision board, you can align your ideas and actions with your desired outcomes, making them more achievable. Remember, the power of visualization is a crucial step towards turning your dreams into reality.

A retired Air Force Master Sergeant, Mike used to lay in bed at night and worry about what would happen if his plant closed or found himself without a job. One day his plant closed. Rather than panic and hysteria (OK, maybe a little) Mike found himself carried away on the adventure of his life. Mike started with the best job he ever had working at Home Depot. He spent 8 years working with job seekers at a local workforce center, helping them to find employment. He then started his own company developing courses, writing books and urging others to follow their own paths into the future. Mike holds a Master of Arts in Adult Education and Training and a Bachelor of Business Management, earned through the University of Phoenix and an AAS degree in Electronics Systems Technology from the Community College of the Air Force. Mike is a member of the Delta Mu Delta Business Honor Society.
