Online Resources to Find Technical Job Openings

Searching for technical job openings can be overwhelming. Sifting through countless job postings and company websites takes a lot of time. Luckily, several online resources can streamline your search and help you find the perfect job.

One popular resource is Indeed.com. This job search engine aggregates job posting from various sources, including company websites and other job boards. You can filter your search by job title, location, and company and set up job alerts to receive notifications when new postings that match your criteria become available.

Another helpful resource is LinkedIn. Not only can you create a profile and showcase your skills and experience, but you can also search for job postings and connect with recruiters and hiring managers. LinkedIn also offers a premium subscription that provides additional job search features and the ability to see how you compare to other applicants.

Glassdoor is another valuable resource for job seekers. In addition to job postings, this website provides company reviews and salary information, giving you a better idea of what to expect from a potential employer. You can also set up job alerts and save job postings for future reference.

Also, consider checking out industry-specific job boards such as Dice for tech jobs or AngelList for startup jobs. These websites often have job postings not listed on general job search engines.

The biggest thing you can do is get out there and meet others when looking for a job. Some of the best jobs come from moments of serendipity, yet you still need to be there.

Rather than panic and hysteria (OK, maybe a little) Mike found himself carried away on the adventure of his life. Mike started with the best job he ever had working at Home Depot. He spent 8 years working with job seekers at a local workforce center, helping them to find employment. He then started his own company developing courses, writing books and urging others to follow their own paths into the future.
